Facility Manager (Germany)

Our client in Lifelinks International Resources, Inc., a DMW-accredited recruitment agency from the Philippines, is looking for a Facility Manager for Germany! We are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and experienced professional with strong leadership and technical skills. Candidates must have at least 3 years of recent experience in hotel maintenance or similar work on cruise ships. An LTO Driver’s License is required. German Language A2 is a plus—free training will be provided.

Responsibilities


  • Overseeing daily facility operations including MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), carpentry, masonry, and painting.
  • Supervising and coordinating a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
  • Collaborating closely with the Hotel Director in planning and presenting facility projects, repairs, and improvements.
  • Managing landscaping and seasonal tasks, including mowing in the summer and snow plowing in the winter.
  • Maintaining hotel grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests and employees.
  • Resolving issues and handling customer-related concerns with professionalism and a service-first mindset.
  • Leading by example with a hands-on, flexible attitude and a proactive approach to facility management.

Qualifications


  • Graduate of a hospitality-related course
  • Must have an LTO Driver’s License
  • At least 3 years of experience in hotel maintenance or an equivalent position aboard a cruise ship within the last 5 years
  • Strong all-around maintenance skills: MEP, carpentry, painting, masonry, equipment handling
  • Excellent English communication skills; German proficiency (A2) is a plus
  • Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills
  • Highly flexible, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Ability to drive tractors for summer mowing and winter snow plowing
  • Must have a “McGyver” mindset—practical, resourceful, and solutions-focused

Compensation and Benefits


  • Gross Salary: €2,650 per month
