Responsibilities
- Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Washing dishes, kitchen tools, and equipment, ensuring all are sanitized and ready for use.
- Ensuring kitchen and storage areas are clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff in the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Handling deliveries, stocking ingredients, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen before, during, and after service hours.
- Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a hospitality-related course
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel or in a similar position aboard a passenger vessel within the last 5 years
- Experience in cooking, kitchen operations, or food service is required
- Basic German (A2) is a plus – free German language training provided
- Strong work ethic, cleanliness, and ability to work under pressure
- Team player with good communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
- Gross Salary: €2,383 per month
